'Aks' is a Hindi/Urdu "multi-genre-rock" band from Bangalore (India), formed in March, 2011. "Multi-genre-rock" is a term we coined to describe our music. We play, make music pertaining to various genres, with an underlying base of good old Rock!

'Aks' in poetic terms, means the 'Reflection of the soul'. Our music bears much significance with the name & reflects who we are, how we think and the music we make.

'Aks' is not just a band for the five of us. It is who we are.
